Club Development

Due to increasing demand for classes and squad sessions we will launch the club's Beta Site in January 2009. The Beta site is planned for Easthampstead Park School, which will run alongside our Alpha site programme at Bracknell Leisure Centre. Stuart will begin the Beta site programme with Saturdays from January 2009. All of his current squads on Saturdays along with a number of new ones have been invited to join him. We envisage many advantages to training at the Beta site. These advantages include exclusive use of the space for the BGC squads and classes; brand new teamgym equipment; fewer or no exclusion dates. However, as we will be using all of the available space with at least two squads operating at any one time, it will not be possible to accommodate spectators. All enrolment forms must be received by 20th December 2008 at 12noon the latest.

NEW Tracksuits

New club tracksuits have been designed and ordered from Milano. We are awaiting their price but are intending to offer members the choice to buy or rent for competitions. Unfortunately, Milano's factory is in Pakistan and the country is experiencing political problems which is slowing freight movements. It is expected that the tracksuits will arrive just after Christmas. Although it is disappointing not to have them for Christmas, we have been understanding in the interests of getting the right tracksuit that will be with us for the foreseeable future. PICTURE

New Acquisitions

Peter managed to bring back a trampette safety pad from the European TeamGym Championships.

The club has now purchased an all singing, all dancing PA System to use at our events. Its fully portable so it should get its first outing at the Winter Recreational Competition in December.
