Spectators' Code of Conduct

Not all clubs can or wish to accommodate spectators. However, Bracknell Gymnastics Club wishes to encourage interested parents, siblings and friends to watch and offer support. Therefore, spectating is a privilege that can and will be withdrawn if the following code of conduct is not followed.

Spectators should please:-

1. Encourage and support the gymnasts and coaches.
2. Remain in the spectator area.
3. Avoid sitting or leaving belongings on any item of gymnastics equipment.4. Keep children (and out of session gymnasts) off of all gymnastics equipment. They must remain in the spectator area if not currently participating.
5. Refrain from public disparagement, gossip and criticisms. If you have anything negative to report, please follow the appropriate procedure (see complaints procedure on notice board).
6. Avoid interrupting the class or distracting the coaches / gymnasts.
7. Refrain from using photography of any kind.
8. Be considerate with regard to volume, language and topics of conversation.
9. Do not leave litter.
10. Enjoy watching gymnastics.

This code is not intended to restrict the input from off duty coaches. As part of our active coaching team, off duty coaches may give additional help on a casual basis in consultation with the lead coach.

Staff will be expecting all spectators to follow these codes of conduct. Behaviour which breaches these codes of conduct will be corrected by staff and may lead to spectators being asked to leave and possibly banned from attending future sessions.
